Last week we held our Second Annual Evening with Mike and Friends. A standing room only crowd of nearly 200 – including Green MP Elizabeth May – took time out of their busy schedules to celebrate Mike Schreiner’s second anniversary as our party leader. We hope you enjoy looking at some of the photos from that evening. 

It’s amazing to see the excitement and energy within our party, even after enduring two election campaigns this year!  It’s been a great year for the Green Party with success at home – electing our first Green MP  – and globally in Germany, UK, New Zealand and Australia. And just last month, the Green Party of Canada’s Adriane Carr was elected as the first Green on Vancouver City Council!

 
As 2011 draws to a close, we need to look ahead and continue to grow our party. 
 
Twenty percent of our funding comes at this time of year, which is why we are counting on you to make a final donation in 2011. Building the party in 2012 requires steady, stable funding, and your support during the next 22 days is absolutely critical
