Dear Green Party members and supporters,

Thank you! Last week we held our first Super Saturday and it was a huge success! In case you missed it, here is a video and a few photos from ridings across the province.

Our next Super Saturday will be August 6th. This is an amazing opportunity to learn, help identify supporters and see what all the excitement is about. If you have never knocked on doors, no worries! You’ll be provided with training and placed on a team with other volunteers.

Please have a look at the list below for the ridings that will be out knocking on doors. Join them if you can, for as long as you’re able.

Super Saturday canvassing locations:

Riding: Simcoe-Grey
Candidate: Mike Schreiner
When: We will have two canvassing sessions,10:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-3:00pm, with lunch provided at noon.

Where: Loblaws Superstore north parking lot, 25 45th St S, off Mosley St, Wasaga Beach. Bring your bathing suit to relax on the beach after canvassing. If you’re interested in marching with Mike Schreiner and the Simcoe-Grey Greens in the Alliston Potato Parade, you can march Friday night, camp overnight and canvass Saturday. Parade is marshalled at Banting Memorial High School, 203 Victoria Street East, Alliston ON at 5:30pm. If you’re interested in camping, please connect with Bill Hewitt.

Riding: London West
Candidate: Gary Brown
When: Canvassing will be in friendly Old South from 13:00-16:00

Where: Meeting at the Black Walnut Cafe (134 Wortley Rd, London) at the corner of Wortley & Craig around 12:30. Street Parking. Training, supplies and great conversation provided. Social time at the Old South Village Pub afterwards.
