Greens ‘energized’
In a recent interview, Schreiner told me his party is “energized” by May’s election.
“We are definitely excited about electing the first Green MPP,” he said.
They’re also hoping to make inroads in Prince Edward-Hastings, Ottawa Centre and York Simcoe, where a proposed gas-fired generating plant is unpopular.
Who knows? Voters are in an ornery mood these days. What we learned from the federal fracas is the polls going into the election bear little relation to the polls coming out.
And no one — Tory, Grit or NDP — is safe.
