Zane Abulail

Zane Abulail is proud to run with the Greens in Markham—Thornhill and ready to bring his experience as a strong community advocate to Queen’s Park.

A Markham resident for over thirty years, Zane is deeply committed to working towards the betterment of his fellow neighbours. A former employee with the City of Markham, he cherished his role of helping others and is hoping to do even more as an MPP. Zane has a degree in urban and regional planning from Toronto Metropolitan University, specializing in policy development that builds vibrant, sustainable, safe, and diverse neighbourhoods.

Zane is currently a small business owner and is acutely aware of the economic challenges facing many during these unprecedented times. He was inspired to run for the Greens because he aligns with the party’s values to put people and the planet first.

With the support of the people of Markham—Thornhill, Zane will enact the Green Party’s vision of a cleaner environment, a solid green economy, more access to mental health care, and affordable housing.
