About Ren

Ren Guidolin wants to inspire youth in King—Vaughan to engage in the community, make a positive difference, and lead the charge for future generations.

A graduate of York University with a Bachelor in Honours Environmental Studies specializing in Environmental and Urban Change, Ren received the Golden Key Award from York for academic excellence. He is also one of the youngest recipients of Brampton’s Board of Trade Top 40 under 40 Award.

While York University went on strike in 2018, Ren established a sustainable apparel line to offer Canadians more eco-conscious clothing options. His experience in this industry gave him a deeper understanding of sustainable production, Canadian business, and the supply chain.

During this period, Ren also founded ICONIC, a diverse activist group whose goal is to support youth innovation and promote entrepreneurship. He then approached the City of Brampton with a clear message: Brampton’s youth need a city where they can thrive.

Ren is a member of several community causes and volunteers for many not-for-profit organizations, including HXOUSE, Return the Love CS, Access Innovations, and HOPCP.

A natural-born leader, Ren is ready to show King—Vaughan that we can build the Ontario we want — no matter your age. Striving to inspire more young people to get involved in their community, Ren knows youth can positively impact everyday life through their vote.
