Priyan de Silva

A community activist and mobilizer, Priyan de Silva is running to bring a strong voice for Scarborough—Rouge Park to Ontario’s legislature.

Priyan has been working with community leaders to make his community a better home for all since 2014. He is eager to bring this, and his nearly two decades of experience working in public education, to Queen’s Park to help build the Scarborough we want.

Inspired by the leadership of Mike Schreiner, Priyan joined the Ontario Greens and served as a candidate in both 2016 and 2018. Priyan knows Ontario Greens are tackling some of the most important issues of our time, including climate change and housing affordability, and is proud to join them in making a difference that will benefit Scarborough now and in the future.
