About Pauline

Pauline Thornham, a long-time Bramptonian and devoted member of the Ontario Greens, is honoured to run again, in Brampton West.

A resident of Brampton since 1980, Pauline has run in the last three provincial elections for the Green Party of Ontario. Although retired from teaching FSL and ESL with the Peel District School Board, she continues to supply teach. Throughout her career, Pauline was her school’s union representative and is currently the Green Party’s Shadow Cabinet Critic for Children and Youth Services. She has a Bachelor of Science in agriculture and a Certificate in environmental conservation from the University of Guelph.

Pauline is committed to fighting climate change. She is a Brampton Cycling Advisory Committee co-chair and a member of the Sierra Club’s Peel chapter and Bike Brampton. She strongly advocates for reformed transportation, including trains, LRTs, and electric buses. Pauline is also strongly opposed to the development of Highway 413.

With her broad life experience and education, Pauline is ready to serve the residents of Brampton West. She is capable and proud to help solve issues, looking through a Green lens.
