About Michelle

Michelle McArthur wants to act as a steadfast and caring voice at Queen’s Park for the people of Niagara Centre.

An Occupational Therapist, Michelle works with various populations in her community. She knows firsthand how mental health challenges, addiction, housing shortages, and the increasing cost of living have impacted Ontarians for the worse. Michelle is ready to offer the solutions to bring positive change to the community. She will focus on decreasing waitlists for mental health treatment, providing guaranteed liveable income, and increasing access to affordable housing.

Michelle is a University of Waterloo graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology and a minor in psychology. She completed a Master of Science in occupational therapy from McMaster University. Michelle takes salsa classes, rides her bike, and volunteers with the Alzheimer’s Society in her free time.
