Maria Legault

Maria Legault’s desire to create a more caring and sustainable environment for Algoma—Manitoulin inspired her to run for the Ontario Greens.

A project manager with a digital marketing agency, Maria holds a Master’s degree from the faculty of environment at the University of Waterloo. Her career experiences have spanned across many different disciplines, including tourism, non-profits, and Ontario’s Conservation Authorities.

Maria is an engaged volunteer with a focus on equity, active transportation, and climate change. In her spare time, she can be found outdoors on local hiking and cycling trails.

Maria wants to apply her experiences to help protect the nature we love, ensure affordable access to housing for all, and foster conditions for thriving local small businesses. She is proud to be a Green candidate for Provincial Parliament in Algoma—Manitoulin.
