About Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn Tremblay wants to be a strong voice for the Nepean community and ensure that all Ontarians have the opportunity for success.

An active advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) and sustainability, Kaitlyn recognizes the importance of practicing these values together to prevent misinformed action, policy, and law. She has a degree in international relations and ample experience championing EDI in the workplace.

Growing up in a military family has brought Kaitlyn across Canada, allowing her the chance to connect with people from many walks of life. These connections have given Kaitlyn an understanding of the successes and challenges that communities like Nepean face. She knows the reality of working paycheck to paycheck while the cost of living rises beyond one’s means. This needs to change now.

Kaitlyn believes that Ontario’s path to success is through investment in its people. She supports the Greens’ plans to introduce basic income, invest in Ontario’s education system, skill development, and healthcare, and provide every Ontarian with affordable housing.

Kaitlyn is also motivated to ensure the residents of Nepean have access to lush green spaces, clean water, and fresh air for generations to come. She knows there is a better way forward and that Ontario is strong enough to be a global leader in tackling the climate crisis. Kaitlyn also recognizes how important it is to have Indigenous voices and other equity deserving groups at the forefront of these conversations.

Kaitlyn chooses to champion the Green Party’s people-first policies that work towards a better way forward for people, progress, and the planet. She’s ready to provide the leadership that Nepean needs at Queen’s Park.
