About Jacqueline

Jacqueline Scott’s goal for Scarborough—Agincourt is clear. She will work to ensure anyone facing health challenges will get the critical support they need to live with dignity and comfort.

Once ready to pursue a career in the trades and an amateur boxer, Jacqueline’s plans took an abrupt turn for the worse when she developed a severe and unexpected health condition. This condition, compounded by inadequate medical support, forced Jacqueline to abandon her pursuits until she was recently able to begin accessing care. Although she currently receives disability assistance, Jacqueline has a family to support. With the overall cost of living on a steep rise, covering her day-to-day expenses can be challenging.

Despite these hurdles, Jacqueline is fighting for a better future with the Ontario Greens to ensure her story doesn’t repeat with Ontario’s current and future generations. She is committed to investing more resources in affordable housing, healthcare, and education.

A resident of Scarborough, Jacqueline enjoys gardening, practicing sustainable living, and studying French. She is a George Brown College graduate of their pre-apprenticeship program.

With her lived experience at hand, Jacqueline is ready to represent Scarborough—Agincourt fiercely and with pride at Queen’s Park.
