Hasen Nicanfar

Dr. Hasen Nicanfar is running in Richmond Hill to be a strong voice for his riding at Queen’s Park. He knows his community needs better access to mental health services, affordable housing, and urgent climate action.

An entrepreneur and business owner with a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of British Columbia, Hasen provides applied research, software development and consulting services in the York region. He is deeply aware of the hardships that entrepreneurs and small companies faced during the COVID-19 pandemic through his own lived experience. With his background in electrical engineering, Hasen also understands the concerns around energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.

Hasen is ready to stand alongside Mike Schreiner at Queen’s Park to provide the leadership we need and build the Ontario we want.
