Glenys Babcock joined the Ontario Greens to speak up for Nickel Belt residents. She will ensure that the unique needs of this widespread community are understood and will work with local experts to help identify pragmatic solutions.
After working internationally for much of her career, Glenys is now keen to contribute to her community here at home. As a Public Policy Analyst and Data Scientist, Glenys believes the Green Party has the right vision and the right people to tackle the most pressing issues facing Ontarians.
Glenys is a lifelong social justice and peace activist who is a passionate champion for the underdog. She has long been concerned about a lack of affordable housing, mental health support, and environmental protection in Ontario. She is also committed to following the path toward Truth and Reconciliation with humility.
Over more than 25 years, Glenys has served diverse clients within Ontario and federal government departments, as well as at the World Bank, multiple Fortune 500 companies, and dozens of not-for-profit organizations.
Glenys is keen to hear from residents throughout the Nickel Belt about the challenges they face and the issues they want as priorities for the next Government of Ontario. She’s ready to offer the leadership Nickel Belt needs to build the Ontario we want.
