About Fiona

Fiona Jager believes the residents of Leeds—Grenville—Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes deserve better healthcare.

With her dynamic background as a registered nurse, a registered psychotherapist, and a professor of nursing, Fiona sees an urgent need for improvement to Ontario’s healthcare system in the interests of patients and healthcare workers. She is proud to support the Green Party of Ontario’s structured and comprehensive approach to healthcare, which acts on the social determinants of health like accessible housing and connected communities. She also believes the Ontario government needs to make healthcare more accessible and equitable across the lifespan for those who need it most.

Fiona is committed to preserving livable, vibrant, and affordable communities in Leeds—Grenville—Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes. She will protect green spaces and waterways, ensure the availability of affordable housing for working families, and take a proactive approach to the climate crisis and sustainable job creation.

As a small business owner and a proud mom, Fiona is interested in local food production. She enjoys gardening, hiking, and kayaking in the beautiful Thousand Islands region.
