Catherine Jones

Catherine Jones wants to use her background in healthcare to create sound public policies that will help the citizens of Mushkegowuk—James Bay.

A former nurse practitioner, senior leader, and college professor with a work history spanning over three decades, Catherine knows that good patient care begins at the intersection of people, systems, and the environment. She is committed to creating strong, resilient communities and protecting the vulnerable ecosystems of Mushkegowuk—James Bay. To achieve this, Catherine will focus on supporting small businesses, developing a green economy to create new jobs, and protecting the land, air, and water.

As a mother and grandmother, Catherine feels a need for urgent change and leadership to build the Ontario we want.
