About Amanda

Amanda Stark is a long-time advocate for social justice and environmental issues in Elgin—Middlesex—London.

After years of observing environmental decline at an appalling rate within Ontario, Amanda began making personal lifestyle changes to reduce her carbon footprint. When she felt it was time to do more, she connected with local Green Party members. Since then, she has been an enthusiastic voice for the Green message in Elgin—Middlesex—London.

Born and raised in farming country outside Dorchester, Amanda has a deep appreciation for natural resources, sustainability, and living a frugal, environmentally-friendly lifestyle. She is a graduate of Emmanuel Bible College in Kitchener and now lives in St. Thomas with her husband. She recently finished the marketing management program at Fanshawe College.

Amanda has demonstrated a passion and dedication for serving her community throughout her life. She has co-facilitated the London and Area Parkinson Society support group for five years, volunteered on her condo board, ran a small business networking group, and regularly participates in fundraisers and supply drives for local agencies. She knows the value of hard work and fostering meaningful neighbourhood relationships with integrity and trust. The spirit of her commitment to building relationships and connecting with her fellow residents inspired Amanda to run for the Greens.

Amanda is ready to roll up her sleeves to build the Ontario we want as a powerful voice for her riding of Elgin—Middlesex—London.
