Ali Hosny

Ali Hosny joined the Ontario Greens to be a strong voice for Oakville North—Burlington.

After arriving in Canada in 2002, Ali fell in love with his adopted home while watching his community of Oakville North—Burlington grow as a diverse, forward-thinking place to raise a family. He is concerned about issues that challenge the area daily, including the climate crisis, housing affordability, mental health accessibility and cuts to the education system. Ali wants to work together with Mike Schreiner to address these concerns and create change for the better.

Working in marketing for over a decade, Ali has gained international experience and strong business acumen that will serve him well in Ontario’s Legislature. He is looking forward to campaigning — not to defeat someone, but to hear the needs of his neighbours and achieve what’s needed for the residents and families of Oakville North—Burlington to continue to thrive and grow.
