Mark Daye, 47, has lived in Ontario his entire life and in Toronto since 1999, having moved here from rural eastern Ontario.
Mark has a diploma in Advertising and Public Relations from St. Lawrence College in Kingston and now lives in downtown Toronto with his husband and son. He works as a Property Manager with Ontario’s leading residential property management firm.
Mark is the Secretary of the Bloor Street East Neighborhood Association (BENA) and Treasurer of Metro Toronto Condo. Corp. 1380.
Mark has been involved with the Green Party of Ontario since 2009. He was the Toronto Centre candidate in 2011 and 2014 and is currently one of the Deputy Leader of the party. He is also a member of the Green Party of Ontario Shadow Cabinet as Critic of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs & Housing and the Ministry of Intergovernmental Affairs.
In his spare time Mark can often be found in his kitchen baking or making gourmet meals for his friends and family. Mark also enjoys music, the arts and is currently studying French.
