Fifth Annual Evening with Mike & Friends in Toronto

Join us to celebrate the leadership of Mike Schreiner in his fifth year as Leader of the Green Party of Ontario. (Mike recently received a 96% approval rate at our Annual General Meeting in September!)

This year, we are very excited to hear from Mike Schreiner, and also to announce our keynote speaker, the Chair of the Ontario Clean Air Alliance, Jack Gibbons!
This year's event will be taking place in the 2nd Floor Gallery at the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto - Internationally recognized as Canada’s favourite Boutique Art Hotel. 
Enjoy some fresh, natural, quality beer from a variety of Ontario's Craft Brewers or some local organic wine. Plus, sample from a selection of tasty appetizers.

Jack Gibbons
Jack has been the Chair of the Ontario Clean Air Alliance since 1997 and has worked on energy and environmental issues in Ontario for thirty years. His previous positions include: Economist, Energy Probe; Project Manager, Ontario Energy Board; Senior Economic Advisor, Canadian Institute for Environmental Law and Policy; and Commissioner, Toronto Hydro. Jack studied Economics at the University of Toronto (B.A.), Queen’s University (M.A.), and the University of British Columbia.

Mike Schreiner is the leader of the Green Party of Ontario and candidate in Guelph. Mike recently received a 96% approval rate from membership at the 2014 Annual General Meeting. He is the co-founder of WOW Foods, a local organic food distribution company, and Local Food Plus, a non-profit focused on bringing together farmers and consumers to promote local food systems that are financially viable as well as socially and environmentally sustainable.
